Bernays: The Prelude

Most people reading that title  ‘understanding of mental health’  will surely take for granted the effort being made to understand mental health is intended to advance science to everyone’s advantage, an advantage that would lead to a better life for all. You must have heard that somewhere before.
This probably won’t come as a shock but they lied. In fact, they spent the entire 20th Century misleading US in particular, and the world, in general.

The Modern Administrative State And How It Works

Most rules are adopted through a “notice-and-comment” procedure, whereby agencies announce a proposed rule, consider comments, and then issue “final” rules. Since 1993, agencies have issued almost 115,000 final rules. The number of agency rules dwarfs the number of actual laws enacted by Congress. For example, last year, the Biden administration issued 3,108 rules, while only 65 bills were signed into law. This has been a consistent trend

Sitting on the stone-cold floor and staring out of the bars of his cell in the Tower of London, Thomas Cromwell awaited his execution. Cromwell had faithfully served King Henry VIII for over a decade and had earned an earldom for helping the King with his infamous marital life. And yet, here he sat with the rats. Anne of Cleves, the third wife that Cromwell had helped to secure for the King, had failed to please Henry, and he blamed Cromwell. Before the nullification of their marriage, Henry looked for a scapegoat. English nobility seized the opportunity to remove one of their enemies and encouraged the King to punish Cromwell. The Earl was arrested, accused of treason, and then sentenced to death without trial.

Cromwell’s fate exemplifies the Old World justice of England, in which every man’s life and freedom could be crushed at the whim of the monarch. Stories like Cromwell’s motivated America’s Founders to develop airtight procedural protections for anyone accused of a crime…

The October issue of The Atlantic explains change as a philosophy. Once we accept that premise we can accept that not so old proverb, ‘What goes around, comes around’. Once that is accepted one more conscience based standard is successfully lowered by the administrative state enabling it to turn back the clock on Christian based civilization a few more ticks…

Two hundred and fifty years after Americans declared independence from Britain and began writing the first state constitutions, it’s not the Constitution that’s dead. It’s the idea of amending it. “The whole purpose of the Constitution,” Scalia once said, “is to prevent a future society from doing what it wants to do.” This is not true. One of the Constitution’s founding purposes was to prevent change. But another was to allow for change without violence. Amendment is a constitution’s mechanism for the prevention of insurrection—the only way to change the fundamentals of government without recourse to rebellion. Amendment is so essential to the American constitutional tradition—so methodical and so entirely a conception of endurance through adaptation—that it can best be described as a philosophy. It is, at this point, a philosophy all but forgotten.

The philosophy of amendment is foundational to modern constitutionalism. It has structured American constitutional and political development for more than two centuries. It has done so in a distinctive, halting pattern of progression and regression: Constitutional change by way of formal amendment has alternated with judicial interpretation, in the form of opinions issued by the U.S. Supreme Court, as a means of constitutional revision.

Being born post WW2 and raised in a Philadelphia different than exists today,  what I learned in grade school about the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States of America defined what it meant to be American for me and most likely millions of others  across the Land who were taught :

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

These days, we all recognize those beliefs were targeted by the hostile-to-freedom-sharing  socialists who, in the Sixties, UNleashed their cultivated cultural aggressions on those aforementioned distinctions.

That most Americans recognize the Preamble as the heart and soul of our Nation and continue to take delight in those same words that apparently makes  the progressive traitor’s hearts shrivel with anger at it’s premise as they stalk US from within the deep shadows of socialism.

What most of US did not realize so long ago, the transformation that now is openly redefining our lives, was the result of the transition We the People experienced UNknowingly and was based on the modern constitutionalism model mentioned in the recent Atlantic article in which The Atlantic failed to include mention of Machiavelli’s  role.

I suspect the Holy Spirit tapped my watzdatmean button when I read the words ‘modern constitutionalism’ in The Atlantic article and caused me to look it up to learn Niccolò Machiavelli  has long been considered the father of modern constitutionalism. Even ours according to the experts.

I don’t know how many modern Americans understand Machiavelli the same way we who were taught to understand Machiavelli in a 1961 sixth grade catholic school  history class but in those days he was pretty much considered a not so distant relative of the Father of Lies.

Machiavelli’s influence was not the only ignored factor in our Nation’s hidden agenda; neither was the progressive conspiracy Woodrow Wilson put together secretly in 1917 that included conniving with the foreign interests who were intent on drawing the United States into WWI. Then there was the  European socialist’s dream of a world government. They called themselves The Inquiry  and met at the American Geographical Society in New York City.

Herbert Hoover  No further mention of Hoover and The Inquiry but you can’t make a good conspiracy without a few missing links. Fortunately, Murray Rothbard  has  presented a  solid argument that Hoover was a willing agent of change to ensnare US in the Elite’s humanist based control.

Harold Temperley  Other than being recognized as a Diplomatic Historian  there is little else to connect Temperley to The Inquiry in any role except as observer/historian.

Lionel Curtis believed in the archive based empirical approach of control (favored by oligarchs) that led to the overabundance of Think Tanks  weaponized to  dismantle freedom.

Lord Eustace Percy aside from the clear headed understanding of human value (pg 5) Percy appears to have served the Crown much the same way  as Temperley and Curtis as a note taker and/or witness

Christian Herter  You might find his papers interesting. Herter may have been the model cash cow for the Deep State method of funding the Middle East. He is alleged to have had played a small role in the Sisson-Documents  investigation.
